Sterling Bank’s Youth Innovative Entrepreneurship Development Programme (YEDP) aims to harness the hidden entrepreneurial spirit among the teeming youth by providing timely and affordable loans to implement their business ideas. The activities to be covered under YEDP are startup and expansion projects for Nigerian Youth Service Corp members and young graduates in the following sub-sectors:
- Agricultural Value Chain (fish farming, poultry, snail farming etc.)
- The Cottage Industry
- The Creative Industry (tourism, arts & craft)
- Information & Communication Technology (ICT)
Startup projects in other sectors will be determined by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from time to time.
Value Add: A single applicant can access up to three million Naira facility while group applicants (3-5 qualified beneficiaries) with joint-venture (JV) agreements can access up to ten million Naira facility.
