Compex Africa, an online marketplace for buying and selling companies in Africa has  launched in Lagos, Nigeria. The marketplace allows people to list their businesses and match them to buyers using brokers and business advisory companies.

Compex Africa has over 100 businesses and brokers who have been prequalified. These brokers include professional firms with expertise in due diligence, financial analysis, mergers & acquisitions. The aim of the marketplace is to become Africa’s biggest market for mergers, acquisitions and exits.

Compex Africa is backed by Sasware, a tech investment company that provides seed fund to technology-enabled start-ups and those in their growth phase. Compex Africa aims to make buying and selling companies a seamless process.
