Three African Startups Stand out at Endeavor’s Entrepreneur Program

Startup accelerator giant, Endeavor has selected 37 high impact entrepreneurs to form part of their extensive group of Endeavor Entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs represent 20 companies across 13 countries. Till date, Endeavor has supported 1403 entrepreneurs who lead 875 companies in 25 growth markets around the world. The three African startups selected for the program include:

Solariz Egypt: Solariz Egypt is an Egyptian startup focused on solar power generation. They design, install and commission PV solar power plants, and offers consumers the opportunity to complement their conventional power supply with solar. Solariz Egypt plans to expand to the Middle East and other parts of Africa through diversifying on its solar products range.

Family Corporation: Family Corporation is another Egyptian startup involved in transportation and logistics. Established in 1999, the firm aims to improve and add quality to the Egyptian transport sector by offering innovative and high quality service. Family Corporation aims to create and sustain value by being recognized as a leader in the transportation sector in Africa and beyond.

ArcAqua: ArcAqua is A South African based firm that converts cold tap water into a powerful sanitizer using nature’s sanitizer ozone. It is safe, environmentally friendly, and also kills bacteria. ArcAqua delivers this natural sanitizer directly to food and food contact surfaces without affecting taste or leaving any residues. The company aims to add its quota to sanitization by providing effective, affordable and chemical free sanitation alternatives; thereby tapping into the growing demand for green tech solutions for sanitization.

Through the program, the startups will gain access to local and international business mentors and volunteers from Fortune 500 consulting firms who will help them address key needs in their businesses.
